Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how LocalPersonas collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our AI-powered software for ad testing, persona generation, simulations, and campaign analysis. LocalPersonas is built for multi-location businesses and franchise systems, so it also covers information we handle when you manage an organization, invite team members, connect advertising accounts, and receive automated performance reports.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, avatar, subscription details, and billing-related identifiers. We also collect business and usage information you provide, including company details, website URLs, company descriptions, ad copy, uploaded images, persona settings, brand-voice settings, and simulation reports.
If you use our franchise and multi-location features, we collect organization information such as your organization name, member roles (franchisor or franchisee), business type, the email addresses of people you invite, and the visibility and management preferences each member sets.
If you connect an advertising account (Meta or Google Ads), we collect the external account identifier and name, an encrypted access token stored in a secure vault, and the advertising metrics we pull on your behalf to generate performance reports. See section 6 for details.
We may also collect technical and operational information such as browser data, device metadata, logs, and usage metrics needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
provide and maintain the platform; authenticate users; generate digital twins and simulation outputs; manage organizations and team invitations; connect advertising accounts and pull performance data; generate and email scheduled campaign reports; process subscriptions; enforce usage limits; respond to support requests; monitor security; and improve product performance.
4. AI Processing
Certain inputs — including ad creative, persona settings, and the advertising metrics pulled from connected accounts — may be processed through AI systems to produce simulated audience feedback, recommendations, and campaign report analysis. Because AI outputs are probabilistic, they may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before being used in real advertising decisions.
Advertising metrics obtained from connected Meta or Google Ads accounts are sent to our third-party AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate the report analysis delivered to you. This data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
5. Organizations, Franchise Networks, and Team Sharing
LocalPersonas lets a franchisor invite franchisees into a shared organization. When you accept an invitation and join an organization, some of your information becomes visible to that organization's administrators according to the controls described here.
Each franchisee member controls whether their connected ad accounts, report schedules, and generated reports are visible to the franchisor, and whether the franchisor may manage those connections on their behalf. When you enable visibility, franchisor administrators in your organization may view the relevant connections, schedules, and report results. You can change these preferences in the product.
6. Connected Advertising Accounts (Meta and Google)
If you connect a Meta (Facebook / Instagram) or Google Ads account, we store an encrypted access token (and refresh token where applicable) in a secure vault, along with a connection record identifying the account. Our access is read-only: we read campaign performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, and conversions to generate scheduled performance summaries for you. We never create, edit, pause, or delete campaigns, and we do not manage accounts, budgets, or bids.
LocalPersonas' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from your Google Ads account is used only to provide and improve the reporting features you have requested, and the only output shared is the performance summary delivered to you, the account owner.
You can disconnect a connected account at any time from the Franchise section of the app, which deletes the stored tokens and connection record and stops us pulling further reports. You can also revoke access directly with the provider. See our Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
LocalPersonas' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google or Meta advertising data for advertising, sell it, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide and secure the reporting features you request, to comply with applicable law, or with your consent.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the platform, manage authentication, store files, process subscriptions, deliver email, and support application functionality. Data from connected advertising accounts is obtained from Meta and Google under their respective platform terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
8. Data Retention
We retain account, profile, persona, simulation, and subscription information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including encrypting connected ad-account tokens at rest. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices
You may update some account information directly in the product, disconnect advertising accounts, and adjust the visibility of your data within your organization. Depending on your location, you may also have legal rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information, subject to applicable law.
11. Subscriptions and Billing Data
Subscription and payment processing may involve third-party billing providers. We may store limited subscription metadata such as plan, status, renewal dates, and billing interval, but payment card details are generally handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by LocalPersonas.
12. Children's Privacy
LocalPersonas is designed for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the date above and take additional steps where required by law.
14. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact LocalPersonas through the contact information provided on our website.
