Data Deletion

Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Overview

You can request deletion of your LocalPersonas account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do that and what happens to your data, including any advertising accounts you have connected (such as Meta / Facebook).

2. Delete your account from the app

Sign in to LocalPersonas and go to Settings → Account, then choose Request account deletion.

This submits a deletion request for your account. We remove your profile, company personas, digital twins, simulations, reports, and related records, and revoke access to the platform. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by contacting LocalPersonas from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the request.

4. Connected ad accounts (Meta and Google)

If you connect an advertising account — Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or Google Ads — LocalPersonas stores an encrypted access token (in a secure vault) and a connection record so it can read your advertising reports. You can remove this at any time:

In LocalPersonas, open the Franchise section and disconnect the ad account, or delete your account as described above. When the connection is removed, we delete the stored access and refresh tokens and the connection record, and we stop pulling reports from that account.

You can also revoke LocalPersonas' access directly with the provider:

  • Meta (Facebook): Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove LocalPersonas.
  • Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → remove LocalPersonas.

5. What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your profile and the business content tied to it (company personas, digital twins, simulations and reports, brand-voice settings) and any ad-account connection tokens. Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you, and records we are required to keep by law, may be retained.
